High Quality

This COB LED strip is made of high quality plastic and is very flexible. The backside has a 3M adhesive strip making it very easy to install. The strip has a standard length of 5 meter, but this can easily be adjusted by cutting the strip or by connecting multiple strips together. This COB LED strip has a protection rating of IP20. This means that the strip cannot withstand water or moisture. The strip can therefore only be used indoors between a temperature of -20°C to 40°C. The LED strip can be used as decorative lighting or as main lighting.

Cutting and extending LED strip

This COB LED strip is very easy to cut to shorten or lengthen. Cutting can be done every 45,45mm in the middle of the copper plates which are marked + and - underneath. These can easily be clicked into a connector or sealed with a cap.

The suitable power supply

To connect the LED strip you need a power supply. This LED strip works on 24V and must be converted with an adapter. Choosing the right adapter is important to get the most out of the LED strip but also to prevent insufficient power running through the strip.

Make sure that the total wattage of the power adapter is at least 20% higher than the power of the LED strip is. (Example: 5 meters = 40W | 40x1,2= 48 |therefore a power adapter with a capacity of approximately 48W is needed this can also be 50W).

For this 5 meter LED strip 8w/m, the following power adapter is sufficient.

• 1m-5m: 24V 60W power adapter

If the LED strip is extended, more power is needed. Below our recommendation.

• 5m-10m: 24V 100W power adapter
• 10m-15m: 24V 145W power adapter
• 15m-20m: 24V 200W power adapter

Typical applications for LED strips

This LED strip is suitable for both professional and residential use. The LED strip is often used for the following applications: offices, stores, cafes and restaurants, public transport, living rooms, bedrooms, bathrooms etc.

The possibilities are endless. For example, lighting along steps, lighting in closets or lighting under a couch or bed. In cafés, LED strips are often used to illuminate the bar. LED strips are also often used as decorative ceiling light in a cove.

Light color

To determine the right light color, it is important to know what the light is for. Here is a description of what different light colors are most commonly used for.

• 2200K has a soft orange glow. Similar to candlelight or a late sunset. Ideal for a nice warm homely and soothing atmosphere in living rooms, cafes, restaurants and other spaces that do not need bright light.
• 2700K has a somewhat yellow/orange glow. Similar to an incipient sunset. Ideal for a nice warm homely and soothing atmosphere in, for example, living rooms, waiting rooms, cafes, restaurants, corridors and other general areas.
• 3000K has a somewhat yellow/orange glow and is slightly brighter than 2700K but still warm. Ideal for a nice warm homey and soothing atmosphere in living rooms, waiting rooms, cafes, restaurants, corridors and other general areas, for example.
• 4000K has a white/yellow glow. Ideal for a well-lit space where good visibility, focus and a nice atmosphere is desired, for example in offices, classrooms, kitchens, corridors, stores, fitting rooms, barber stores, stairwells or waiting rooms.
• 6000K has a white/light blue glow. Ideal for a well-lit area where good visibility and concentration is desired, for example in hospitals, laboratories, workshops, studios and garages.
